Project Details

The project involved providing scaffolding for various elevations of the exterior perimeter, utilising a combination of perimeter-independent scaffolding and individual access towers. The perimeter-independent scaffolding provided a stable platform around the entire building, allowing the construction team to access and complete the remedial works efficiently. Individual access towers were strategically placed at key locations, offering secure and controlled access points around the property. This setup ensured comprehensive coverage of the exterior perimeter, making it easier for the construction team to carry out the required tasks without obstructing public access. Protection fans were installed at the entrance and exit points to ensure public safety while the property was still in use. These fans acted as a physical barrier, preventing accidental falls and minimising the risk of pedestrian injuries. Additionally, debris netting was used on the base lift of the scaffold to enhance safety and prevent any falling debris. This netting acted as an additional safeguard, capturing and containing any debris that may have fallen from the scaffold, thereby protecting the public and construction personnel. These measures were essential for maintaining a secure and safe working environment throughout the project, allowing for a smooth workflow without disrupting public access.
